Formerly Crown Solicitor for Dunedin, he now works as a Consultant to the firm. He has extensive experience in all court and tribunal work. He is available to help you in respect of criminal prosecutions, civil disputes and other court and tribunal work where you require a lawyer.
In the past Bill has been a President of the Otago District Law Society, served on the New Zealand Law Society, been on the Serious Fraud Office panel. As a Lieutenant Commander of the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve he served on the Armed Forces’ Court Martial Panel. He has also lectured part-time at the University of Otago. In the past he has served as a Company Director, and he continues as chair of a body corporate. He has also served on various welfare organisations and continues to be an Honorary Solicitor to various organisations, and is a trustee of the Shacklock Charitable Trust.
