Heidi has experience across family and civil litigation, including relationship property, trusts, and child-related matters.  She is solutions-focused and works closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes through negotiation, mediation, or court proceedings. 

Approachable and practical, Heidi provides clear advice and steady support during challenging times.  Her practice pairs  sharp legal research and courtroom advocacy with a straightforward, transparent approach to client communication.

Heidi holds an Honours degree in Law from the University of Otago and a Bachelor of Arts.  She began her legal career in Auckland, appearing regularly in the Family Court, and has served in leadership roles within community and governance organisations.  She currently sits on the boards of the Dunedin Kindergarten Association and Tahuna Intermediate School.

Outside of work, Heidi is a mum of four who enjoys spending time outdoors.
